About This Service

In rural communities, young people often lack constructive outlets for their energy and talent. Without organized activities, youth can drift toward idleness or negative influences. KWS recognized sports as a powerful tool for engaging young people and building community bonds.

Our sports program began with a simple tape ball cricket tournament and has grown into a comprehensive youth engagement initiative spanning multiple sports. Today, we organize events in cricket, kabaddi, volleyball, and tug of war — sports that are deeply loved in our culture.

Each tournament is organized with professional standards: proper umpiring, match scheduling, team registration, and transparent scoring. We offer trophies, cash prizes, and recognition for winners, which motivates participation and raises the level of competition.

Beyond organized tournaments, KWS invests in sports infrastructure. We've helped level playing fields, provide equipment like cricket kits and volleyballs, and support talented athletes with nutrition advice and training opportunities.

The social impact of our sports program extends far beyond the playing field. Tournaments bring together people from different mohallas (neighbourhoods) and villages, fostering inter-community bonding. Young men who might otherwise have limited social interaction develop friendships, teamwork skills, and healthy competitive spirits.

We also use sports events as platforms for community engagement — setting up health awareness booths, distributing educational materials, and strengthening the bonds between KWS and the community it serves.

How It Works

1

Tournament Planning

We select sports, set dates, and create tournament brackets. Rules and formats are published in advance for transparency.

2

Team Registration

Local teams register to participate. We ensure fair team compositions and balanced matchups.

3

Event Execution

Tournaments are conducted with proper umpiring, scoring, and crowd management. Community members gather to watch and cheer.

4

Awards & Recognition

Winners receive trophies and cash prizes. Outstanding individual performances are recognized. Photos and results are shared widely.

Our Impact

Over 500 young people have participated in our sports events. 10+ tournaments have been organized across multiple sports. The program has become a highlight of community life, with residents looking forward to each event. Several talented athletes have been identified and supported for further development.
