About This Service

The Muqada Work Box system is one of KWS's most innovative and community-driven initiatives. Inspired by the Islamic tradition of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity), these boxes allow anyone to contribute to community welfare at any time.

The concept is simple but powerful: sturdy, locked collection boxes are placed at strategic locations throughout the village — shops, mosques, community halls, and public spaces. Anyone passing by can drop in whatever amount they can spare.

What makes this system special is its inclusivity. You don't need to be wealthy to make a difference. A shopkeeper can drop in the change from a transaction. A laborer can contribute a few rupees from the day's wages. Over time, these small contributions add up to significant funds.

We currently have over 30 boxes placed across the community. Each box is clearly labeled with the KWS name and purpose. Trusted community volunteers are responsible for collecting the funds on a regular schedule.

Transparency is paramount. Every collection is counted in the presence of witnesses and recorded. Monthly reports detailing collections and expenditures are shared publicly — posted at community centers and shared on social media. Community members can see exactly where their contributions are going.

The funds collected through Muqada boxes are used exclusively for welfare activities — ration distribution, medical assistance, emergency relief, and small infrastructure projects. This system ensures that KWS always has a baseline fund to serve the community, even when large donations are not available.

How It Works

1

Box Placement

Secure, labeled collection boxes are placed at shops, mosques, and community spaces with the consent of the location owners.

2

Community Contributions

Anyone can drop in any amount at any time. No minimum contribution. Every rupee counts.

3

Regular Collection

Trusted volunteers collect funds on a set schedule, counting them in the presence of witnesses for transparency.

4

Transparent Utilization

Funds are allocated to welfare activities. Monthly reports are published publicly showing collections and expenditures.

Our Impact

The Muqada box system has created a sustainable, community-funded welfare model. With 30+ boxes in operation, we collect consistent funds that keep our welfare programs running month after month. The system has fostered a culture of regular giving, with community members taking pride in their contributions.
